About this project

Alnas Foundation (non profit) has been working to provide humanitarian aid to the needy in Kilis refugee camp – Turkey, Zaatari refugee camp – Jordan, Shatila refugee camp – Lebanon and now we are working on providing them with Iftar throughout the month of Ramadan.

After a full day fasting, there is nothing more welcomed than breaking one’s fast with an Iftar meal. Imagine how we would feel without a proper meal and only a cup of water to break our fast?

Imagine if we had even less than that. It’s hard to imagine isn’t it? Yet, there are millions of people who are in worse situations.

So a donation of $30 will feed 10 people for a day or $90 will feed one person for the duration of the month.

An alternative would be to pay $300 which will feed around 150 displaced refugees in a school. This is merely cheaper since the food will be offered in large quantities.

You can sponsor one or more needy fasting persons for the entire month of Ramadan in any of these eight countries where we work:

Iraq
Pakistan
Gaza
Lebanon
Nigeria
Afghanistan
Jordan

Za'atari refugee camp – Jordan
Azraq refugee camp – Jordan
Shatila refugee camp – Lebanon

At Alnas Foundation (non-profit) we work hard to ensure that many of the poor, sick and elderly around the world who share this spirtiual bond of fasting are served a wholesome and nutritious hot meal each evening as part of the Iftar.
