1. What is Islam religion?

Islam is Arabic term. This means adopting peace and entering into it. So being Muslim means a person who from human to God, maintains peace with everyone. Therefore the main meaning of being a true Muslim is one who lives with another human with love and non-violence.

2. Who is the massanger of Islam?

Hazrat Muhammad is the founder of Islam. He is considered to be born in the year 570 AD. As per the Indian history, when India was ruled by Harshavardhan and Pulkeshian, that time Hazrat Muhammad was preaching Islam in Arab countries.

3. Holy books of Islam and what they include:

The foundation of Islam is Quran, the Sunnath and Hadisa
The Quran is the holy book, which contains the message sent to Hazrat Muhammad by God.
Sunnath highlights the work by Prophet Muhammed.
Hadisa is a religious book including the preachings of Prophet Mohammed.

4. One important thing about Islam religion is that when Prophet Muhammed went into intense meditation, he realized the true wisdom. The meaning of Quran means something spoken or written.

5. The verses of Quran are those, which came out of Prophet Muhammed’s mouth at the time when he was completely immersed in God’s thoughts.

7. The verses of the Quran were given to Paigambar for 23 years time to time,which he wrote on woods or bronze plates and spread it to the world.

8. During the time of intense medidation when Prophet had the darshan of Islam religion, he is also called as Paigambar, Nabi and Rasul. Paigambar means one who sends messages. Highlighting the divine wisdom is a job of Nabi that is why he was also called so. Rasul means the messenger of God. Muhammad was the messenger of God and religion among humans.

9. Mool Mantra of Islam: ला इलाह इल्लल्लाह मुहम्मदुर्रसूलल्लाह. This means that apart from Allah, nothing else is worth worshipping and Prophet Muhammed is the messenger of God. Therefore, a true Muslim is one who not just believes in Allah, but also in Paigamabar.

10. Those who follow Islam are required to fulfill 5 religious duties. These are –

Read Kalma – ला इलाह इल्लललाह मुहम्मदुर्ररसूलल्लाह. This means that Allah is one and Muhaamed is his Rasul.

Namaz – Praying to Allah 5 times a day.

Fasting (Keeping Roza) – The holy month of Islam’s calendar is Ramzaan. During this whole month, a true Muslim is only allowed to eat food once and that too after sun set. In this month, Muslims should also read Quran religiously.

Zakat – 40% of annual salary to be given in charity.
Hajj – The journey of various holy places of Islam religion.

11.According to Quran, Allah(God) is one, who is extremely kind and loving.

12.Quran believes that angels (Farishtey) increases the inner energy of humans.

13.Quran teaches humans to be away from all kinds of negativity as it spoils people’s lives.

14.Quran also teaches that a true Muslim is one who respects other religions as well, because all religions are created by God himself.
